On the auspicious occasion of Vajrotsava Bharati, marking a sacred milestone in the spiritual legacy of Sringeri, Sri Abhinava Vidyatirtha Multispecialty Hospital proudly launched its Mobile Hospital Unit on October 2, in the revered name of Jagadguru Sri Bharati Tīrtha Mahaswamiji.
Conceived as a service-oriented healthcare initiative, the SAVMH Mobile Hospital is designed to take essential medical services directly to villages, remote habitations, and underserved communities — ensuring timely care where access to hospitals is limited.
Equipped with modern diagnostic facilities, consultation areas, and support infrastructure, this mobile unit stands as a moving extension of SAVMH’s commitment to ethical, affordable, and compassionate healthcare rooted in the spirit of seva.
The Mobile Hospital reflects SAVMH’s enduring vision that no individual should be deprived of healthcare due to distance, financial constraints, or lack of awareness. Each outreach camp conducted through this unit is aimed at early diagnosis, preventive care, and health education for the community.
Guided by the blessings of the Jagadgurus and the ideals upheld by the Sringeri tradition, this initiative embodies the philosophy that service to humanity is service to the Divine. It is a step towards bridging the urban–rural healthcare gap with dignity and empathy.
“Wherever there is a need for care, our service should reach — without hesitation, without barriers.”
Through this Mobile Hospital, SAVMH reaffirms its pledge to carry healing beyond hospital walls — delivering hope, care, and trust to every doorstep it reaches.
